We’re always on the look out for new and exciting books. I particularly like buying different books as presents. When I say ‘different’ I mean more unusual books, books that hopefully people won’t already own.
So when I spotted these beautiful books I knew I just had to share them with you. You may have seen some books by Xavier Deneux before. He’s a French illustrator who specializes in children’s books and introducing concepts through images.
Children can feel the cut out designs. As the book states “To touch is to experience. To experience is to learn” which I think almost says it all – children will learn from these books. They are interactive yet easy to read. Aimed at children aged between 2-4 years old. I also have to say I find them aesthetically pleasing as an adult.
The raised die-cut pieces appear with indented cut-outs make for a beautifully tactile book. We think these books make great presents, and there’s a place on every baby / toddlers book shelf for these sorts of books.
Let’s take a closer look..
There are a huge selection of books within the Touch, think learn range of Xavier’s books, including:
- Wild Animals
- Little Critters
We’d really rate these books!! They’re great for introducing new concepts to children and getting them really involved in story time. You can find more books by Xavier Deneux here.
