Out & About | Finding Santa 🎅🏼

The Little Angel Theatre kindly invited us to their press performance of Finding Santa.

We went along to watch and it really was a great show. When you arrive at the Little Angel Studios, you step into a little Winter Wonderland. The hallways are lit with fairy lights and there’s a lovely Christmas feel about the place. Upon entering the theatre itself, you’ll hear Christmas music and a glistening set…

There are some very welcoming elves who chat to the audience and ask the children questions like what they want for Christmas, as well as telling jokes and having fun with the audience. Soon the show started – it is very interactive – in fact the audience get to choose which direction the characters go (literally) which is great fun.

Unfortunately I didn’t have children with me on this occasion but I could see the children who were in the audience were fully immersed in the performance and very engaging.

The elves are great and joke with the audience throughout the show. The 2 elves are joined on stage by a puppeteer who steps into animal character amazingly, she also moves the staging around very cleverly. Which sets the scene perfectly – whether it’s an ice lake or a icy bridge that is being portrayed.

I had a warm fuzzy feeling, as the show went on – it’s very sweet, well put together and the perfect performance to get you into the Christmas spirit – is highly recommend. Having also recently seen The Everywhere Bear by the Little Angel theatre company I’d highly recommend their performances – they are executed so so well.
