Mother’s Day is fast approaching, so we thought we’d give you a few gift ideas. We have included some items you can buy and also popped a few homemade ideas into the mix.
Mama jumpers and t-shirts by Selfish Mother
With some of the money going to mothersformothers charity your mama can look good and feel good for helping out this wonderful charity. Find the collection here.
Hand Painted Flower Pot
So simple, yet a really lovely idea especially as Mother’s Day falls just before spring fully blooms. You’ll need a terracotta pot, paints, paintbrushes and PVA glue. Paint the pot and leave to dry and then cover with PVA. When completely dry place a plant in your pot. Children as little as 18months can help with this present.
Fingerprint jewellery by Philippa Herbert
Beautiful silver, platinum, yellow, rose or white gold necklaces, bracelets and charms, made with your babies or child’s fingerprint. They can also hand engrave with
names or dates onto the jewellery. Have a look at their website here.
Breakfast in Bed
Leave mum in bed for a little longer on Mothering Sunday and go fill a tray with mums favourite breakfast food, a cup of tea, Mother’s Day cards and a little vase of daffodils.
Scrumptious biscuits and chocolates from Biscuiteers
Why not spoil mum with not only yummy biscuits or chocolates but also the most beautiful ones. Biscuiteers hand decorate all their biscuits and also offer a London themed afternoon tea and also DIY biscuit icing sessions. You’ll find their icing cafes in both Notting Hill and Northcote Road. Find their website here.
