Here at pocketnannies HQ we’re winding down for Christmas now, but today we’ve got a few quick crafts to help keep your little ones entertained before the big day comes. We’ve gathered together some of our previous crafts to help inspire

Cupcake Case Snowflakes 

I spotted this simple cutting craft via this Buzzfeed article, 17 Life Hacks to make Christmas with Children easier. All you need is some cupcake cases, scissors and some cutting skills. I found this activity quite fascinating because it’s always exciting to see what design will appear when you open out the snowflake.

3D Christmas Star 

Older children will be able to make this intricate looking star by following our step by step guide here.

Christmas Decorations

If there’s any space on your Christmas tree, why not make some simple Christmas decorations like ours:

Gingerbread Play Dough

You may have seen our 5 minute play dough recipe, if not you can find it here. To create some Chirstmasy play dough, add some ginger and cinnamon to the dough to get a lovely Christmas scented sensory experience.

Don’t forget your Christmasy cutters and gingerbread cutters. The perfect opportunity to read The Gingerbread Man.
