Out & About | Half Term in London (October 2017)

It wouldn’t be the lead up to Half Term without a round up of whats on from us here at pocketnannies, so without further a do, lets take a little look at things to do in London this Half Term:


Do you love taking children to the theatre as much as we do? Why not take a look at these shows?

Stick Man

The Arts Depot, Finchley. Age 3+ £8-13. There are 4 performances across the weekend of Sat 21 OctSun 22 Oct. More information can be found here. Also on at the Leicester Square theatre during half term, more info and tickets here.

Little Red Riding Hood

At the Polka Theatre, Wimbledon is on from Wed 25 – Sun 29 Oct. Tickets are £13.50.  We’ve been to quite a few productions at the Polka Theatre and have always been very impressed! More information can be found here.

Wow Said the Owl

Another children’s theatre worth visiting is The Little Angel Theatre – Wow Said The Owl is on until Sun 5th November, aimed at children aged 2-5 years. Price: £12.50 for Full-price Adults, £10.50 for children. More here. (We loved this book, you can read our review here).

Why not book your children into something a little bit different?

Roller Blading and Skateboarding Day Camp

Do you have a budding skateboarder at home? This camp run by Zebra Skate, maybe just the thing! Zebra State is for children aged 5-13 years. Held at the The Albert Memorial, Kensington, W2 2UH, you can find out more, here.

The Little Foxes Club – Half Term Multi Sports Camp.

We haven’t heard of this camp before but it sounds great fun! For children aged 5-7 years and held in Battersea Park. Find out more here.

The Whale Exhibiton

Whales: Beneath the Surface exhibition is on at the Natural History Museum until February 2018. Tickets costs from £8 – £12.50. More information can be found here. Whilst you’re there make sure you visit Hope the new whale instalment in the Hintze Hall.
