Activities | Citrus Fruit Painting

You’ll need

Lemons
Limes
Oranges
Paint
Card/paper
Kitchen roll

Cut the fruit in half and place onto a piece of kitchen roll to soak up the excess juice. Decide which colours of paint to use. If you want to use the same piece of fruit with different colours of paint you will have to wash the fruit in between.

Place the cut end of the fruit into the paint. The trick is to not get too much paint onto the fruit but at the same time making sure you have paint on the whole area. Then place down onto your paper and lift up the fruit to reveal your stamp. You can re-stamp the same piece of fruit 2-3 times without redipping in the paint.

Why not do on a large roll of white paper and use as homemade wrapping paper.
