Calling all Lego fans…you are going to LOVE this!
Just in time for Christmas a new Lego store has opened in Leicester Square, London, and it’s the biggest in the world…and it is AMAZING!!
This store is like no other and has taken Lego to the next level. Most noticably it is now home to a life size tube carriage, that took over 600,000 bricks to build it, taking over 4000 hours to make by master builders. Along with this there is a new 6m high Big Ben in the shop which chimes on the hour using 400,000 bricks to make.
The store also offers play experiences for children and adults, yes you heard!, and workshops with their master builders to help you learn new building techniques and experience Lego in a whole new experience!
If you forget where you are, just look at the tube map inside that has moving lights in to remind yourself of your next stop…not that you’ll be escaping the store for a while!
But the coolest thing has got to be the new Mosaic Maker. Ever wanted your own face to be made out of Lego? Well now you can…but it’s not for the faint hearted! Sit in a photo booth, take a picture, and out pops a box full of 4000 bricks that expertly make up your face! How cool is that! Now you just have to make it…I can imagine so many parents being asked on Christmas morning to do this. All I can say is good luck!
One thing is for sure this is going to be such a cool place to go over the Christmas holidays – if you can bare the crowds!
