With half term approaching at the end of the month, here is our round up of what’s on in London for little ones.
‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’
The classic book is brought to life at the Little Angel Theatre, Islington. From Thursday 14 April – Sunday 26 June. The performance is suitable for age 2 to 7, but there are also more relaxed performances – Find out more and book tickets here. £12 / £10 children and concessions.
There are a handful of city farms across the capital. The ones we have visited are great for a little taste of farm life. Deen City Farm, (Wimbledon) Vauxhall City Farm, Freightliners Farm (Highbury & Islington) and Mudchute Park and Farm (Isle of Dogs).
Fun Fashionista’s are hosting Half Term Beginners Fun in Ealing. Teaching children everything from how to thread a needle through to introducing them to using a sewing machine. Sounds great. Visit their website for more information and booking.
From 24 March – 11 September 2016 you will find the exhibition of hundreds of free flying Butterflies in a tropical house at the grounds of the Natural History Museum. It costs £5.85 for children,£6.50 for adults. Find out more at the website here. We’ve become quite fond of butterflies since ‘growing our own’ using Insect Lore’s Butterfly Garden which we have up for review soon.
Outdoor Adventures at RHS Gardens Wisley
There’s a whole week of activities planned at Wisley Gardens, Woking (just off the A3). Check out the programme right here.
