Activities | Shape Painting

As nannies we really try to encourage learning in a fun and relaxed manner. This is a great easy activity to do with a toddler and a perfect way to introduce the names of shapes.

You will need:
Cupcake tray/paper plates
Wooden or plastic shapes
Paint brush
Cotton wool

On one sheet of paper draw around your shapes. Then let your little one pick up the cotton wool with a peg and dip it into the paint and paint over the shapes.

On another piece of paper, let your little one place their shapes into the paint and stamp them onto the paper.
